VR and AI: Two combination technologies expected to merge

Technology is the wave of the future, and it's fair to assume that the wave of the future is certainly here with all the technical developments that are taking place at such a rapid rate.
Daily, technology touches our lives; we have become so dependent on it as a culture that I can not imagine what life will be like without it.

With a view to the future, global society can only become more dependent on technology, as more and more progress is being made on a seemingly daily basis. I have definitely given us many advantages by technological devices, and it is exciting to think about what other devices and applications we will adding and how they will enrich our lives even further in the coming years.

The next phase of technological growth is already being seen, and that phase is convergence. Only think back to the early 2000s, when many devices required to make phone calls and send messages, take photos, browse the internet, and even listen to music. Quick forward to today and we can do all of those stuff–and so much more–from a single, sleek computer that we can fit in our back pockets; that's right, our smartphones. Thanks to convergence, to do all the above stuff, we no longer need many pieces of equipment; we can do them with a single, portable unit.

There is no question about it: the advantages of bringing technology together have undoubtedly been beneficial. We should hope to see even more mergers on the way forward. There are we will mix two things which really stand out when we think about what kinds of technologies in the future: virtual reality and artificial intelligence.

Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence Combine
Virtual reality (VR) and artificial intelligence (AI) are not recent at all; they've been around for a while now, actually. To build virtual worlds in which we can immerse ourselves, VR uses technology, while AI seeks to equip technical devices with the keen insight and awareness of a sensitive being. I have made recently significant developments to upgrade VR and AI and to bring them together to create a single type of technology that offers almost infinite possibilities.

Integrating VR and AI: What the future holds

Joining VR and AI together will give us some pretty cool opportunities. It's exciting to think about what possibilities we can get from the merger of the two. Here's a look at some aspects they poise in which VR and AI convergence to change our daily experiences.

Flight and Tourism Dynamic

The travel and tourism industry now employed VR. Airlines, hotels, resorts, theme parks, and top tourist destinations use the technology to give their prospective clients a look at what they are going to experience. VR, for example, offers travelers a taste of what it would be like to stay at a spa, or what it will mean to explore a destination. By letting visitors experience the guest rooms, swimming pools, restaurants, and spas of a resort, for example, before they arrive, it brings images and details to life.

Add AI to the mix, and in an even more complex way, clients would experience future journeys. Prospective travelers can use VR to visit places in which they are interested, and they can use AI to help them make their travel decisions.

For instance, VR allows visitors to see what's to come when they book a resort stay, while AI software can take care of the trip's actual booking; for example, hotel and flight reservations.

Shopping Immersive
To maximize the shopping experience, VR is already being used. Virtual reality allows consumers to try out items that they consider before making a purchase in a virtual environment for example, they can try on clothes or test drive a vehicle. Although virtual shopping is definitely exciting, AI will enhance even further the experience.

A shopper interested in purchasing furniture, for example, can use VR to test couches and chairs that they are interested in while AI can add a virtual sales partner who can make suggestions, answer questions, and even complete a sale. Not only does the integration of AI and VR help customers, but it also provides companies with great opportunities; for example, it will give businesses the ability to learn more about shoppers, such as what they want and how they shop, so that they can make changes and increase their sales.

Engaging with Entertainment
VR has already changed the shape of entertainment drastically. Virtual reality headsets immerse players in realistic worlds so that they truly feel like they're in the game, and it allows thrill seekers, for example, to witness death defying roller coaster speeds and heights. Although VR is already such a vibrant part of the entertainment industry, it will make it even more exciting with the launch of AI.

In a video game, AI would make background characters smarter; these characters could respond to real-life players. By making it more enjoyable and thrilling, it will take gaming to a whole new stage.

Ultimate Thoughts
AI and VR are amazing technologies that deliver amazing possibilities on their own, but putting them together to work together would make different interactions much more immersive and engaging. Most definitely, integrating AI and VR will bring countless possibilities and will inevitably alter so many of the interactions we have.
