At a special event today in San Francisco, HTC announced that Vive Focus, the company's virtual reality glasses, is launching corporate customers in 37 markets, including North America and Europe.

Vive launched six months ago in China. Now the company is launching its independent virtual reality glasses in select countries as an enterprise-focused device.

Two specific proposals are on the table: Vive Focus and Vive Focus "Advantage," the latest of which comes with a professional licensing services program, dedicated support, and hardware support service. There will also be a "benefit +" program that offers longer hardware warranty.

The standard device with no additional services is priced at $ 600, while the new Vive package starts at $ 750. Despite the company's focus on organizations, although upgrading regular consumers will not be removed, the new service anyone can buy it directly from the organization's site appeals to.

The new standalone vive glasses that have everything needed for the entire hardware VR experience inside the devices - including battery, processor, graphics and display - rather than relying on anchored smartphone. The glasses are powered by Qualcomm's 835 chipset, HTC boasts a 1,600 × 1,440 OLED screen for each lens, a new ROOM SCALE 6DOF tracking, IPD adjustment, a single 3DOF controller.

HTC North America CEO Dan O’Brien has reinforced that Vive VIDF 6DOF controllers are coming out soon, although no tablet is yet available to consumers and currently the signs are being sold exclusively to developers.

Vive Focus launches worldwide the Vive Wave SDK, the company's mobile platform specifically developed across the Vive Focus concept in China. Content will be made from the mobile version of Viveport.
