How to do Oculus Quest back to default on Oculus Quest?




the solution:


To reset the factory settings by phone:




Open the Oculus app on a phone connected to Oculus Quest.


Tap Settings in the bottom menu.


Tap on the glasses that are connected to the phone.


Tap on additional settings.


Tap Factory Default Reset, then Reset.


Connect to the Oculus application with the account you want to connect to in your Oculus Quest and set the device up from scratch.


Note: You can only reset Oculus Quest manufacturer settings by phone if you have access to an account connected to your Oculus Quest.




To reset the factory settings using the Oculus Quest:




Hold the volume and shutdown (-) of your quest at the same time until a boot screen loads on the virtual reality glasses screen.


Use the volume buttons on the headset to highlight Reset Factory, and then press the power button.


Use the Oculus Quest volume buttons to highlight Yes and press the power button.


Connect to the Oculus application with the account you want to connect to your Oculus Quest and set it up from scratch.






The fault:


I get a black screen when opening some of the apps or games on my Oculus Quest.




the solution:


With virtual reality glasses turned on, hold down the power button at the top of the Oculus Quest until you are prompted with a shutdown screen.


Select Reboot to reboot Oculus Quest.

How do I remove or exit your Oculus Quest account?




the solution:


To reset the factory settings by phone:

We want to remove our data from the Oculus Quest.




the solution


On your computer or mobile phone, navigate to https://secure.oculus.com/my/devices/


Select your Quest Oculus from the list of devices


Click the Delete Device Data button


If you do not see this option, the software version of the device may not support remote support.


Complete the verification process to confirm your identity.


After resetting to factory settings, the device will disappear from the list. Then the problem will be solved.
